BRYOMOLECULES project kicks Off in Trento, Italy
On October 17, 2024, the BRYOMOLECULES partners gathered in Trento, Italy, marking an exciting beginning to this innovative project.
The meeting brought together the project partners including:
- Fondazione Edmund Mach (FEM), renowned for its expertise in environmental and agrifood research
- HIT – Hub Innovazione Trentino, a leader in technology transfer and innovation in Italy
- Lund University (Sweden), Medical University of Lublin (Poland), and Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne (France), providing academic strength in metabolomics, molecular biology, and biochemistry
- Plant Advanced Technologies PAT (France) and Bionos Biotech S.L. (Spain), contributing with expertise in plant-based technologies and biotechnology.
- European Science Foundation, providing expertise in project and communication management
Our diverse team combining scientific minds and industry innovators will explore insights into the biochemical properties of bryophytes while discovering what these small plants can achieve. Each partner brings specialized skills to the project, ranging from species collection and molecular research to bioengineering and metabolite identification, all essential for accelerating the implementation of our findings in real-world contexts.
